The Vision
FSH Music's mission is to build an organization that records, publishes, and sells faith-based music utilizing local and regional talent. Its initial efforts are focused in Texas and Oklahoma. Many churches have musical gifts among their congregation that go undiscovered and undeveloped. FSH Music will record, package, and promote those artists to share those gifts with the local community and beyond.
There are many of today's churches that have developed music ministries with full bands, gifted singers, and original compositions. While mega-churches create their own recordings from internal production facilities and publishing companies, many smaller churches choose not to make that capital investment. This creates an opportunity for FSH Music to offer its turnkey recording, publishing, and promoting services to churches with both developed and undeveloped talent in three ways:
- Churches wanting a studio or live recording of their worship teams. This tier of performers/writers does not have radio play or sell records through traditional distribution channels. They want to use the recordings as an outreach to grow their church, as a product for fundraising efforts, and/or to bless both the team and current church members.
- Churches with gifted songwriters will contract with FSH Publishing to promote their compositions through other recording artists signed by FISH Records.
- Churches with developed, yet undiscovered performing and/or songwriting talent will contract with FSH Music to record and promote music regionally or locally through traditional distribution channels. Individuals or the worship band itself will sign with Fish Records, and original compositions will be promoted through FSH Publishing.
